Course List
The Course List page shows a list of courses.
From the course list page, users can sort by department. Users with the relevant permissions can create or delete a course, as well as switch to the active courses page.
When clicking on a course, users with the relevant permissions can edit, edit the eligibility rule, export a list of students who selected the course.
When creating or editing a course, the following fields are editable:
- Course ID
- Course Name
- Credits
- Retakeable
- On Course Selection Form
- Course Placement
- Special Permission
- Description
- User Instructions for Course Exception
- Instructions for Course Exception
- Syllabus
When editing the eligibility rule the following fields are editable:
- Eligibility Rule
The export button exports a list of students who selected this course for the active selection cycle.
Active Course List
This view works exactly the same as Course List except it filters for courses whose "On Course Selection Form" flag is set to true only.
Section List
The Section List page shows a list of sections that are active in the selected year and term. This page is year and term specific.
From the section list page, users with the relevant permissions can create and delete sections.
When clicking on a section, users with the relevant permissions can edit a section, download a student picture set, or download a class list.
When creating or editing a section, the following fields are editable:
- Course
- Section
- Cycle
- Period
- Room
- School Year
- School Term
- Teachers
The Download Student Pictures Grid button downloads a PDF with each of the student's pictures who are in the class.
The Download Class List button downloads a list of students in the course.
Mapping Views
Both mapping views allow users with the relevant permission to map a value (left column) to a user (right column).
Upon making a change, please be sure to save the change by clicking the map button at the bottom of either page.
General Use
Transcript View (Grades) on Student Detail / Dashboard
The Transcript view is accessible to users with the relevant permissions by clicking on the "Grades" button on a student dashboard / detail page.
Each of the department specific areas expand when clicked on.
Any portion of the page which has the format <value>/<value>/<value>/<value> represents Area GPA / Credits Attempted / Credits Earned / Credits Averaged.
There are a number of tabs in the upper right of the page which allows you to view the tabs by year (Permanent Record) as opposed to subject area (Grade), or to view marking period specific report cards, or in graph form.
There is also an ability to filter by school to only see transcripts from a specific school, in addition to download a PDF version of the permanent record.
Schedule Widget
The Schedule widget appears by default on a student dashboard. It has two export functions — one with a report card and one without. Both will render as a PDF.
This widget is school year / school term specific.
