Course Selection Open
This is a flag that determines whether students can access the course selection form and submit new choices.
The default is false.
Submission of Choices
This is a flag that determines whether students can lock in their selections.
The default is false.
View Course Exceptions on Dashboard
This is a flag that determines whether the Course Applications widget is visible on the front page of a student's information.
The default is false.
Enable 'Qualified' Courses (and rendering)
This is a flag that determines whether a list of 'Qualified For' courses will render on a student's graduation requirements page.
The default is false.

The is a setting that governs the term that current choices are being made for — interpreted along with the course choice year setting.

Permissions
Course Placement
- View Course Placement
- Allows a user to view a course placement. If granted to a student or parent, this is limited to course placements that affect their child. If a user is granted Administrate Placements and/or Change Course Placements, they should also be granted this permission.
- Recommended for you school's Program Office staff, and students or parents if you would like them to have this permission.
- Administrate Placements
- Allows a user to view the Course Placement Management page, as well as Generate Placements.
- Recommended for you school's Program Office staff.
- Change Course Placement
- Allows users to change the Course Placements for a given course.
- Recommended for you school's Program Office staff and any staff members you wish to be able to change Course Placements.
Rule
- View Rule
- May also be recommended to give to students and parents as this page contains information regarding which courses count for which requirements.
- Delete Rule
- Add Rule
- Change Rule
- Student List
- This allows users to view the list of all students and the status of their submitted choices in the heuristic view without going student by student.

Course Exception Request

- This can be granted to students / other staff members to allow the submission of course exception requests

- This will also allow users to approve or deny course exception request approval objects that they have control over.

These are all recommended for Program Office staff.
- Add Message
- Allows users (students, parents, and staff possibly) to add messages to Course Exception Requests.
- Mass Create
- Grants access to the mass create course exception requests page.
- Change Approval
- Grants the ability for superusers and staff members to approval all and deny all requests (this is a super override).
Choice (and Misc)
- Change Choice
- Allows a user to edit their course selection form
- View Graduation Requirements
- Allows a user to access the graduation requirements tab
- Change Rule Preference
- Allows a user to Generate Default Fillins, Clear, and Manually Assign Rule Preferences
- View Choice History
- Allows a user to view the choice history for a given student and the different versions of their selections.
