Header List
Header List contains a list of all of the header mappings that are stored in the system.
Users with the relevant permissions can create, edit, and delete header mappings from this view.
Creating and editing a Header requires the following fields of information:
- Resource Name
- File Header
- Resource Header
If you save a header mapping from a specific Resource's detail page, you will be able to see the saved fields from this view.
Resource List
Resource List contains a list of all resources that you created.
Users with the relevant permissions can create a resource from this view. The fields required will differ depending on the type of resource selected.
The import and export buttons will pre-select the Resource Type as import, and export, respectively.
If any import type is selected (Import, PDF Import, or ZIP Import), you will be asked to select a file to upload.
Regardless of resource type, you will be asked to select specifically which resource you wish to use, this indicates where you would like to insert data, or from where you would like to pull data.
The create view is a two-step process. A resource object is not editable after creation.
From the Resource Detail page (where you are taken after creating a resource), there are a number of actions that can be taken:
- Header Mapping (for Import Resource Types only) allows you to map the headers from a file onto database resource fields
- Defaults Form allows you to select a default value for certain fields (only supported for certain resource imports).
- Run Action actually performs the import or export.
The right side of the page will have a progress bar. For imports, upon completing once, and reloading, the results page will be viewable. This will either show completed actions or errors. If there is at least one error, the entire import will fail. After a successful first pass, during which no data is committed to the database, Athena will perform a second pass. This will leave imports finishing at effectively 200%.
Exports are performed on one pass, a file will be downloadable upon a reload after 100% completion.
Data Manipulation
The Data Manipulation view is a utility view where you can enter an Excel column (or newline separate list) of Student IDs and/or emails, and pull any number of fields from it.
Instead of doing a VLOOKUP in Excel, or having to reference a number of different files, you can use the data manipulation view.
Once pasting in the emails / student IDs, clicking outside of the paste box will render on the right the first few registered matches as well as a count of how many students it found (useful to confirm that it has found all students you expect it to).
The supported export fields are:
- Full Name
- OFCL
- Grade
- Sex
- Meal Code
- Parent Information
- This includes address, authorization and relation codes, spoken and written languages, as well as email.
- IEP / 504 Data
- This includes all information stored by Hygeia. Please consult Hygeia's documentation to see a complete list of fields.
